About Coach Joe Wang:

Coach Wang was appointed Head Coach and General Manager of the American Football National team of FUSC (Federation of University Sports of China) also known as "Team China" in 2014 and 2016. Coach Wang, who is known as the Ambassador of American Football in China, developed and coached the first Chinese University football team at Beijing International University in 2011.  Since then, he co-founded the American Football Union (AFU), which developed eight Chinese University teams.  In 2012, Coach Wang organized the first Chinese University tackle football exhibition game at Harbin University of Commerce, which drew 28,000 students in attendance.

 

Coach Wang was engaged by the National Football League (NFL China) to lead and train Chinese coaches in the first ever NFL Experience. The NFL Experience duplicated segments of the NFL Combine, with eighteen events focusing on speed, strength and agility.  The event was held in the cities of Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou, China, with over 10,000 fans in attendance.

Coach Wang is a former NFL Combine Coach, founder of South Bay Football League, and author of Joe Wang's Code to Unleashing Your Inner Coach.  Coach Wang is the grandson of China's 1936 Olympic soccer team captain, Sho Fong Wang.  Joe Wang was a starting linebacker on his high school state championship football team.

 

Prior to coaching, Joe was a sales executive with Microsoft Corporation for nearly 10 years and prior to that, a management consultant with Ernst & Young.

 

About Coach Byron Chamberlain:

2-Time NFL Super Bowl Champion, Football Coach and TV Analyst

 

Byron Chamberlain is a former NFL tight end, playing 9 seasons with the NFL (Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, and Washington Redskins). Chamberlain was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round in 1995 out of Wayne State. Byron was a key contributor as a member of the Denver Broncos back-to-back Super Bowl wins (Super Bowl XXXII & XXXIII). He was voted to the 2002 Pro Bowl while with the Minnesota Vikings. Byron finished his outstanding career with 167 catches for 2,048 yards (12.3) with 6 touchdowns. His longest reception went for 88 yards. Byron had a remarkable 20-year football career as a Two Time Super Bowl Champion, NFL Pro Bowler, All-American, All Big Eight, and Hula Bowl All-Star.

 

Byron is the founder of Pro Day Experience, which offers training programs for youth as well as high school athletes and football skills camps and private coaching sessions throughout Southern California. He was a former Strength and Conditioning Coach at University of Missouri and Wide Receiver Coach at Wartburg College Iowa. Byron is currently a TV Analyst for Sports Final on FOX 5 San Diego. Byron has always had a passion for giving back and helping others. He started The Byron Chamberlain Foundation in 2000 to help assist underserved individuals and communities.

 

Mr. Chamberlain has been the Offensive Coordinator for Team China since 2013. Along with Coach Wang, Chamberlain has coached the World University Championship games in Sweden in 2014 and Mexico in 2016.
